Bradley Devlin '05
Bradley Devlin is a Tonawanda native and a member of the St. Joe’s graduating class of 2005, where he wrestled and played soccer. He then went on to get his degree from the University at Buffalo in 2010.
As a wrestler at St. Joe's, Devlin was a two-time Monsignor Martin All-Catholic and CHSAA state champion.
He started coaching in 2007 as a wrestling assistant and has filled many roles during his time moving back and forth between Amherst High School and St. Joe’s, coaching lacrosse, soccer, wrestling and volleyball.
Devlin became the Marauders’ head wrestling coach in 2019 after three years as an assistant. He succeeded longtime coach Pete Kennedy and has continued the program’s tradition of success as the Marauders have now won seven straight All-Catholic team championships.
Comment: Coaching at SJCI is extremely rewarding due to the focus on developing student-athletes and men of integrity. While winning and losing games or matches seems important in the moment, the long-term effects of our athletes' development as men is at the forefront. Coaching at SJCI, in a Lasallian-focused manner, being able to support students athletic and academic needs cannot be replicated in any other school.
