Peter Hudecki '92
Peter Hudecki is a native of Buffalo and a 1992 graduate of St. Joe’s. During his high school Marauder career, Hudecki played four years of both football and track, and he also wrestled in his senior year.
He went on to Canisius College and graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor’s degree in Science in 1996. He then attended West Virginia University and graduated with a Masters of Science degree in 1999. He played four years of collegiate lacrosse and one year of rugby.
Hudecki has an extensive coaching history that includes football, basketball, cross country, bowling and lacrosse.
He coached football in the Buffalo Public School system, with stops at Seneca, East and South Park high schools – as well as the St. Joe’s junior varsity squad.
Hudecki coached girls basketball at East High School and boys basketball at South Park, winning league titles with both. He coached cross country and bowling at School No. 366.
He coached lacrosse for two years in West Virginia before coming to St. Joe’s as an assistant coach and now as head coach. Hudecki has posted 174 career wins at St. Joe’s and he guided the Marauders to their fifth consecutive Monsignor Martin Athletic Association league championship this past spring.
