Jeffery Banks
Jeff Banks is a native of Williamsville and a member of the Williamsville South High School graduating class of 1986. He then went on the earn his degree from Buffalo State College.
He has previous coached lacrosse and both boys and girls swimming before coming to St. Joe’s in 2012.
The Marauders have been near the top of the standings in the Monsignor Martin Athletic Association consistently throughout Banks’ tenure. He’s been particularly effective at reaching swimmers early, while they’re still just freshmen or sophomores. That gives him time to learn their individual strengths and develop those skills as they strive for their best times.
The team finished second in the league in the 2021 season that was compacted by the pandemic.
Comment: “Coaching at St. Joe’s has afforded me the opportunity to have an all-inclusive program where all are welcome to join our team regardless of previous experience and skill level. Our program is designed to develop your strength as a student athlete while leveraging the values of sportsmanship, competition and team unity. We have exceptional parental support, which focuses on extended family values. As a result, our teams are highly competitive among the top programs in Western New York.”
