Frank
Coheley
Frank Coheley is originally from Atlanta, Ga. And graduated from Morrow Senior High School in 1988, where he played baseball and tennis.
He went on to attend Jacksonville State University and graduated in 2003. He has coached little league baseball, softball and tennis.
Coheley spent some time as a tennis coach at Niagara Catholic until that school closed its doors in 2018. He then came to St. Joe’s as an assistant coach in the tennis program in 2019.
The whole tennis season was washed out in 2020 by the pandemic, and the job as head coach was open at the start of the 2021 school year – and Coheley was the natural choice.
After a year off, the tennis program was starting from scratch with two players back with varsity experience – Cohelet was able to add a strong nucleus of superb young talent into a strong season.
Comment: “I am proud to be a coach at St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute. The young men I coach are proud, resourceful, respectful men that give sportsmanship a new meaning. Thank you for the opportunity to represent St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute on the tennis court.”
