Vincent Christiano '18
Vincent Christiano is a Town of Tonawanda native and a member of the St. Joe’s graduating class of 2018 – where he played ice hockey and ran track and field.
He’s currently attending Canisius College and expects to graduate in 2022 with a degree in journalism (concentration: Sports Broadcasting) and a degree in Communications (concentration: Media Studies).
Christiano began coaching junior varsity hockey at St. Joe’s in 2018 and then took the position as the head of Marauder TV in early 2021. This made it possible to watch almost any St. Joe’s sporting event live online, which took on a heightened importance this past year when all Covid-19 restrictions were in place and limited the numbers of fans who could attend games in person.
Comment: “Being able to return to St. Joe's so recently after I graduated, I was glad to have an opportunity to give something back to the school that gave me so much. Often, people in athletics say there is no greater feeling than putting on a jersey with your school's logo on the front. It feels almost as great to bring those experiences more attention through Marauder TV, giving these games the chance to be viewed at work or at home.”
